Good morning,
After several days of cold and blustery weather the sun has finally decided to show itself. Our furnace was on the fritz for 10 days and consequently, i didn't get much painting done. The studio was a bit chilly. Now that the sun is out and my mood has lifted I hope to get at it again today. The grass is finally turning green! Hooray!

- Marcie has lived and painted extensively throughout the United States. She has called Baker City home for the past ten years and has acquainted herself with the local landscape through painting en plein aire (on site), sketching and photograpy. She bases her compositions upon those photographs, field studies and color notes to compose her paintings at her home studio. "My goal is to invite the viewer to stop for a moment and experience a particular moment in time."
